Best Ever GCSE Results August 2011

64% of Woolston pupils achieved the gold standard of 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Mathematics in the 2011 GCSE examinations. This smashes the school’s previous best result of 56%. 83% of pupils achieved 5 A*-C, also setting a school record.

Academic year 2010-2011 started with an excellent Ofsted report which judged the school to be Good with 12 Outstanding features and the year ends with further confirmation that Woolston Community High School staff, parents and pupils are working together to achieve excellent academic results.
